Rodent Control in Folsom, CA

Folsom sits where the valley meets the foothills, with the lake, the American River and open oak woodland wrapped around its neighborhoods.

Around Folsom

Folsom started as Granite City, a town of gold miners laid out by Joseph Libbey Folsom on Rancho Rio de los Americanos. He died in 1855 and the town was later renamed for him. The Livermore family planned a dam on the American River to run a sawmill; the sawmill never worked out, but the Folsom Powerhouse did, sending power to Sacramento over a 22-mile line, and it is now a National Historic Landmark. Folsom Dam, built in 1956, made Folsom Lake. Carpenter Hill, at 831 feet, is the highest point in Sacramento County.

The Gold Line light rail ends at Historic Folsom station, and the Folsom Historic District is on Wool St. The Johnny Cash Trail, the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary and the Folsom Public Library all have Stafford St addresses. Lembi Park and Livermore Community Park are on Riley St, Castle Park is on Prewett Dr and John Kemp Community Park on Bundrick Drive. The Harris Center and Folsom Lake College share an address on College Pkwy, and Palladio is on Palladio Pkwy.

What makes Folsom different

Open space is the defining feature. Greenbelts, trail corridors, oak woodland and the river canyon run between and behind the subdivisions, which keeps a permanent population a few yards from the back fence rather than an occasional visitor. Most of the housing is newer, much of it with concrete tile roofs and complicated rooflines, so the roofline is where we spend most of our time: tile edges, gable and ridge vents, and the junctions where one roof plane meets another. The historic district is the exception, with older houses on raised foundations and the crawl space problems that come with them.

How we work in Folsom

The same five steps everywhere: a free phone estimate, finding exactly how they are getting in, sealing those openings in steel and mortar, trapping and monitoring what is left inside, then cleaning and sanitizing. No poison and no recurring contract. The exclusion work is a one-time repair backed by our guarantee.

Our Carmichael office at 6839 Hillside Dr puts Folsom a short run away. We also work Rancho Cordova and Citrus Heights and Roseville, and the wider Carmichael area.
