Rodent Control in Elk Grove, CA
Elk Grove grew fast, and most of it is newer subdivision housing that backs onto rural ground to the south and east.
Around Elk Grove
Elk Grove began in 1850 as a stage stop. James Hall opened the Elk Grove Hotel and Stage Stop for travelers coming from Sacramento and the Bay Area, and named the place for the elk antlers he found in the groves nearby and for the Missouri town of the same name where he had lived. The Central Pacific came through about a mile east in 1868. Wine grapes were grown here from the 1880s, and Elk Grove stayed a small farming community until suburban building began in the late 1980s, and it incorporated on July 1, 2000.
State Route 99 runs through the middle of the city and Interstate 5 along its western edge. Elk Grove Regional Park is on Elk Grove Florin Rd and the Elk Grove Library on Elk Grove Blvd. Laguna Community Park and the Barbara Morse Wackford Community & Aquatic Complex share an address on Bruceville Rd, where Elk Grove Commons is too, and Hal Bartholomew Sports Park and the Franklin Community Library are both on Franklin High Rd. Emerald Lakes Golf Course is on E Stockton Blvd, and City Hall on Laguna Palms Way.
What makes Elk Grove different
A house built in the last thirty years is tight at the walls, so the way in is almost always a specific detail: a gap under the first course of a concrete tile roof, a gable or attic vent whose screen was never rodent-grade, the rim of the garage door, or the point where the gas line, the hose bib or the air conditioning line set passes through the wall. The rural edge toward the Cosumnes and the farm ground beyond it is the other half of the picture - open land keeps a resident population right up against the last street in the subdivision. Old Town and the older ranch properties have their own list: raised floors, detached garages and outbuildings, and the gaps that come with age.

Do you charge extra to come out to Elk Grove?
No. Elk Grove is inside our normal Sacramento service area and the phone estimate is free there like anywhere else.
How fast can you get to Elk Grove?
